but after about a month i became far too poor to buy the rare discontinued film. however i encountered some rediculously precious moments along the way that were just meant to be seen this polaroidy way. ya, you know what i'm talking about. so here are some fake homemade roids for ya. basically just a bunch of crappy shots that we all know wouldn't look good any other way :] :]

david kross

i had never before gone to see a movie alone. not until valentines day. sometime around 3:00 in the afternoon i was feeling kind of romantic (and slightly bored in between photo shoots) so i took myself to see 'the reader' at an old theater downtown. i was ten minutes late to the movie but the second i walked into the theater the score and that unmistakable voice of kate winslet captivated me and continued to do so for hours. i've thought of the film everyday since i saw it. i was very glad to see kate win her first oscar tonight for her role as hanna schmitz. so so much deserved, she is incredible. i am sad though that i haven't heard much mention of david kross. that kid, holy crap, he was outstanding! he really nailed it... such honest acting. he had this very odd german charm to him and he won me over for sure.
