the weather is so unpredictable here. one moment you might be on your walk to the grocery store, sweating balls in the hot hot sun. then on your walk back home you might get caught in a gigantic downpourrrrrr and arrive at home looking all goofy and soaking wet..........

spent a few days in the outskirts of Orvieto. a family friend, Franco, lives in a little guesthouse on a winery. dogs running around everywhere. lots of rain. little sun. awfully beautiful. the scenery reminded me some of home... so nice... i miss home.

i walked 6 miles round trip for these flowers!

the water was so warm! i stayed in it for hours!

woke up around 4am the other morning and couldnt seem to get back to sleep! i layed in bed for an hour but when 5 rolled around i decided to go on a stroll while the sun woke up...

sunrise on the corner

stayed up to catch the sunrise with some friends on sunday morning. we parked ourselves at bar leonardi, the corner bar. and by bar i mean coffee shop. it's all the same here.

here's a peak at our little kitchen! one of our only agendas while here is to acquire some mad cooking skilzz! sometime this week we are going to make pasta from scratch and today we're baking a cake for our friend's birthday! :)
