life sucks

This was pretty much the most hurrendous day ever. God help me if I ever have to cruise around Italy in a boat, on a sunshiney day, with the wind in my hair, ever again!!!!!!!! Especially with thesssse people. EW! ;) ;)

firewood

Tucked into the forest of Narni(a) stands a tiny little house. This house needs a lot of love. A boy named Manno figured he was the one for the job and bought this little home. Slowly but surely its all coming together. On this one afternoon he chopped some wood for his very own fireplace.

so we're nearing that part of the trip. the end part. not exactly sure what im going to do without this place. i guess i'll figure that part out in ten days. but in the meantime, i'm still here ...

muahahhh! partook in some sweet white-water-rafting at the foot of Cascata delle Marmore! It was sooo beautiful and so much fun!

sorry my blogging hasnt been anything real fantastic lately. ive kinda kicked my photo taking and editing obsession during my time here in italy land. i would like to start collecting portraits of our friends here in Amelia though... so you can probably look forward to that. ciao ciao

storms

almost every day at exactly the same time a storm rolls into amelia..... first some distant thunder.... then the dark clouds drift in..... the thunder gets louder..... lighting....... more thunder more thunder more thunder....... and BOOOM the sky just opens up and pours rain for 20 minutes. last sunday we were at our friends for lunch when it hapenned...
