summer break! always promises to be interesting. sometimes dangerous, too.
i will take the boredom and the uncertain daily structure and let it fester into fright.
and the nerves impel me to do foolish things. something, anything, to keep myself entertained, at least.
this summer has been no exception. in fact, this summer has been the epitome of it all.
but its all been quite beautiful. and certainly unforgettable.
everyday, i'm intrigued.
and somehow, all this, has tricked me into stumbling upon a plan for what's next.
for, what is next?

this is how it works
you're young until you're not
you love until you're dumb
you try until you can't
you laugh until you cry
you cry until you laugh
and everyone must breath
until their dying breath

now this is how it works
you peer inside yourself
you take the things you like
and try and love the things you took
and then you take the love you made
and stick it into some, someone else's heart
pumping someone else's blood
and walking arm and arm
you hope it don't get harmed
but even if it does
you'll just do it all again

Wedding :: Emily & David

One warm summer evening, two of the most kind and genuine people I've ever met, married each other. They transformed a backyard into a cozy and magical place so that hundreds of their friends and family could join them in celebration. Everything about their wedding day seemed so heartfelt, I'm really glad I got to be there amidst it all. Congratulations Emily & David!

it just so happens that i work with some of the coolest kids in all of sacramento. and last night they put on a crazy beautiful show. it was magic. nicole and justin (a.k.a. Van Der Neer) made all these clothes from scratch! out of thin air! and jules (a.k.a. Sea Of Bees) composed for the fashion show a breathtaking song. i'm glad i was there to witness it all take place.
