Lori Lindlief

She was late to everything. Hours into a birthday party or wedding or holiday gathering I'd still be looking around, anticipating her arrival. When she finally made an appearance I'd catch her eyes from across the room and, simultaneously, we'd let out a big "EEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!". Then she'd tell me, "get the hell over here and give me a hug you little brat!". That was my Auntie Ewwy. And for the remainder of whichever family shin-dig we happened to be at that day, I would gravitate towards her. It was my favorite thing in the world to hang around and bug her. She was the sassiest lady I've ever known. So spirited, so upbeat. Just about everything she said made me laugh. I will hold her close to my heart forever.

When you work for a company as many years as we have we begin to act like family. Laurie was someone I passed on the UPS property for many years as she prepared for her day. I will miss the simple hellos and gestures to have a great day. You can tell her greetings were genuine and that’s attribute to the spirit you knew she carried.

i miss her so much... i couldnt make her service due to the conference in NYC, that she was suppose to attend..and she was there making her presence know, as Hurricaine Irene. That was Lori, commanding an entrance.. The conference was opened with a moment of silence for our fallen sister. All 396 members wore hot pink ribbons "In Memory of Lori Lindlief" I do know she was at peace with herself and her life when we had brunch in July. She was so calm and relaxed. Spoke of all the positives with her Family, and home. No negative work talk. So refreshing!!! RIP my friend. My heart hurts...
